Rumsfeld's Writer's Cramp

Shot looking into the open doorway of a well-appointed office. Lots of leather chairs and so forth.

Second shot is closer, it looks in over the shoulder of a man sitting at a large desk with a stack of letters before him. You never see his face.

Every few moments the man drops his pen and shakes his hand around. "Damn. This is Haaard Work." he says, then picks up the pen again and resumes signing the letters.

Fade to black with the words: "1300 and Counting."

...except Rummy has never personally written to the almost 1450 families that have been devastated by the loss of their loved ones. He uses a machine-generated signature for that human touch.
